This residence multitasks as a house for an enterprising family of four, Dr.Achi Ashok, a leading gyneacologist in the city, Mr.Ashok Arunachalam, the founder and MD of a multispeciality hospital in South-East Bangalore, their two sons, Rahul - a medical student & Rakshit an engineering student, both aspiring musicians too.
Set on the outskits of Bangalore - Devanahalli, a fast developing neighbourhood, this design for an eminent professional from Mumbai boasts of planning and detailing that hosts two houses across 3 levels. Both houses set overlooking an internal courtyard, this shell is all about play of light, patterns and lightness of form and brilliant layering of spaces.
This home for the Kypa family was planned on a 2400sq.ft corner plot. The design exploits the corner plot advantage on which the project is located and uses it to split-levels and maximise the solar orientation. These ideas are instrumental in segregating functions as well.

We pulled in a lot of different styles and designs to create an eclectic feel that we think is really beautiful and elegant.
